PKN to spend $15m for conveyor belt

Coal mining company PT Pesona Khatulistiwa Nusantara (PKN) will spend US$15 million to develop conveyor belt at its coal concession in Sekayan, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan.

Jeffrey Mulyono, President Director of PKN told Petromindo.com recently that the conveyor has six kilometers in length.

?We will start the development in May 2015,? he said, adding that this conveyor belt is expected to support the production activity at the site.

This year PKN is targeting about 5 million tons of coal output from Sekayan site and Kelubir site in Bulungan, North Kalimantan.
