Plaju plant is the most efficient refinery in the country

"The efficiency of the Plaju refinery plant has gradually improved thanks to Pertamina?s efforts to optimize the utilization of the plant?s capacity," Pertamina?s president Baihaki Hakim said in Jakarta early this week.
According to Baihaki, the Plaju plant is the most efficient in overall oil processing activities. But Baihaki said that for the production of Premium gasoline, the Balongan refinery plant in West Java was the most efficient with production cost of Rp 1,464.1 per liter, followed by Plaju with production cost of Rp 1,468.2, Balikpapan (Rp 1,542.6), Cilacap (Rp 1,602), Dumai (Rp 1,621.3) and Kasim refinery plant (Rp 1,750).
In the production of kerosene, the most efficient plant is Plaju with a production cost of Rp 1,317 per litter, followed by Balongan (Rp 1,384.9), Dumai (Rp 1,483.4), Cilacap (Rp 1,515.1), Balikpapan (Rp 1,518.1), Kasim (Rp 1,655.5) and Pulau Brandan (Rp 1,835.3)
While in the production of the industrial diesel oil, Cilacap is the most efficient with a production cost of Rp 1,181.8 per litter, followed by Plaju (Rp 1,241.4), and Brandan (Rp 1,672.5). (*)
