PLN: Acknowledgement for purchasing electricity from IPP of 2 x 100 MW Bali Timur power plant

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR PURCHASING ELECTRICITY FROM IPP
OF 2 x 100 MW BALI TIMUR COAL FIRED STEAM POWER PLANT
IN BALI PROVINCE
PT PLN (Persero) hereby acknowledges to the public its intention for purchasing electricity from IPP of 2x100 MW Bali Timur Coal Fired Steam Power Plant on which will be built in East Area of Bali Province by the Independent Power Producer. Commercial operation of the power plant is expected in 2013 and its power will be delivered through 150 Kv transmission line to the nearest PLN Grid in Bali Province.
PLN intends to Pre-qualify party or parties as a consortium who have interest as the Developer of the IPP power plant with build, own and operate (BOO) scheme. Pre-qualification criteria will be based on the Applicant?s satisfactory demonstration of:
1. Consortium member(s) is Local Investor or International Investor partnership with Local Investor, and;
2. Experience in financing and developing IPP Project with minimum total power plant capacity of 100 MW, and;
3. Experience as EPC Contractor or Minimum 3 (three) years experience in operating and maintaining power plant of size minimum 65MW each unit for coal fired plant or 100 MW per unit/I 35 MW per block for non coal fired plan, and;
4. Financial capability (Net Profit) as evidenced by audited financial report for the last three (3) years. The Lead member shall have minimum EBITDA of USD 200.000.000 (two hundred million dollars), in 2005, 2006 and 2007 Financial Reports.
Pre-qualification Document may be obtained from March 19th, 2009 to March 30th, 2009 after payment of a non refundable fee in the amount of Rp 1.000.000,- (one million rupiahs). End of submission date of the Application is April 13th, 2009 which shall be hand delivered during office hours at the following address:
