PLN adds 2x1.3 MW to Bali?s diesel power station

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) (PLN) has added two power units each with the capacity of 1.3 MW to PLTD Kutampi in Nusa Penida, Bali province, bringing the capacity of the diesel power station to 8.2 MW.
Previously, the capacity of PLTD Kutampi was 5.6 MW with a peak load of 5.3 MW. The power plant supplies power to Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. Thanks to the addition of the two power units, the power station now has a reserve of 2.8 MW.
The two power units was inaugurated on Tuesday by Amin Subekti, PLN?s Director for Eastern Java and Bali.
