PLN announces winner of Muara Bekasi-Muara Tawar gas pipeline tender

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) said that the consortium consisting of PT Walinusa, PT Moeladi, PT Krakatau Engineering had won the tender for the construction of a 7.2-kilometer gas pipeline project from Muara Bekasi to its Muara Tawar combined cycled power plant in West Java.

 

“The consortium won the tender worth of Rp 80 billion (1US$=Rp9,400),” PLN's Deputy Director for Primary Energy and Power Plants Tony Agus Mulyantono said on Monday.

 

According to Tony, the consortiums outbid PT Citra Panji Manunggal, PT Rebana, PT Rekayasa Industri, PT Titis Sampurna, PT Nindya Karya-PT Promatcon consortium, PT Waskita Karya-PT Kelsri consortium, PT Man Ferrostal, PT Barata Indonesia-PT Wahana Putra Margaswadaya consortium and PT Adhi Karya-PT Meta Epsi consortium in the selection process.

 

PLN will get gas supplies pipelined by state owned gas company PGN from American firm ConocoPhillips’ Suban gas field of the Corridor block in South Sumatra .

 

PLN also expects 100 MMCFD of gas supplies from state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina’s Pagar Dewa field, 85 MMCFD from American firm Amerada Hess’ Jambi Merang field and 50 MMCFD from local firm Medco Energi International’s Singa field. (godang)
