PLN Batam opens tender for gas-fired IPP

PT PLN Batam, a unit of state electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) announced on Monday pre-qualification tender to develop 2x (25-35) MW gas-fired power plant in the industrial island of Batam under Independent Power Producer (IPP) scheme.
The Company said in its tender announcement that the project would include construction of 150kV transmission line.
The PQ tender is open for single companies or joint ventures which have technical and financial capabilities. The Company also requires interested parties to have secured gas supply agreement from gas supplier(s) or to have received gas allocation from the Government of Indonesia.
Bid document could be obtained from January 25 to 27, 2010 at PT PLN Batam, Panitia Pengadaan PLTG IPP, Gedung PLN Batam Lantai 4, Jl. Engku Putri 03, Batam Centre, Batam, 29431. (denny)
