PLN Batam says coal tender attracts bidders

PT PLN Batam, a unit of state electricity firm PLN said the recent spot coal tender it held has attracted several bidders.

Corporate Secretary Syamsul Bahri told Petromindo.Com on Wednesday that the company is evaluating documents submitted by bidders and will start due diligence next week.

He did not disclose the names of the bidders.

PLN Batam earlier this month opened tender to supply 100,000 tonnes of coal with CV of 4,700 kcal/kg AR for one year period.
