PLN Batam tenders power plant project

PT Pelayanan Listrik Nasional Batam (PLN Batam), a unit of state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) on the Batam island, announced on Monday the engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) tender of 2x20-25 MW gas-fired power plant project to be located in Panaran.
The company said it was looking for interested bidders to build the power plant under Independent Power Producer (IPP) scheme.
Bidders should have experience in carrying out power plant EPC, have enough funds or are capable of securing financing for the project, the company said.
Interested bidders could obtain bid documents from April 14-15, 2011 at : PT PLN Batam office, 4th Floor, Jl. Engku Putri No.3, Batam Center, Batam-29431.
Bid submission deadline is set on April 26, 2011. (denny)
