PLN Batubara in coal supply deal with PLN Batam

PT PLN Batubara, a coal trading unit of state electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) on Wednesday signed deal with its sister company PT Pelayanan Listrik Batam (PLN Batam) to supply coal to Tanjung Kasam power plant in the industrial island of Batam.
Under the deal, PLN Batubara will supply 108,000 tonnes of coal per annum to Tanjung Kasam, or around 30 percent of the power plant?s annual fuel requirement.
The company did not give detail about the contract duration.
Coal will be transported using vessels operated by another sister company PT Bahtera Adiguna.(*)
