PLN books Rp 217t revenue

State-owned electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) stated that it booked higher revenue of about Rp 217 trillion in 2015 on increasing electricity sales.
Sarwono Sudarto, PLN's Finance Director said in a press conference Wednesday that the 2015 revenue was a slight increase compared to Rp 193.4 trillion in 2014. He added that the revenue figure is unaudited.
Sarwono revealed that the biggest component of the revenue was electricity sales worth Rp 209.8 trillion, up compared to 2014 sales which was only Rp 186 trillion. "While the rest of the revenue of as much as Rp 7.3 trillion came from other PLN's businesses," he said without elaborating the businesses.
