Some eight buildings belonging to the state-owned electricity company PLN may have to be seized by the court if the company fails to pay Rp 73 billion in compensation to PT Enico, according to a source.
The source said that PLN was now awaiting for a ruling from the Supreme Court to annul the court execution.
PT Enico was the contractor for the development of the ash disposal work at the Suralaya coal-fired power plant. But Enico and PLN got into a dispute over the size of the project. The former then filed charges against PLN, and the North Jakarta district court ruled in favor of Enico.
The source said the buildings that may be seized by the court all located in Jakarta included the headquarters building of PLN subsidiary PT Indonesia Power.(Amoros)
