PLN calls for bids to build Merah Mata power plant in South Sumatra

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara is calling for bids to build a 60 Megawatt (MW) PLTG Merah Mata gas turbine power plant in South Sumatra.

In an advertisement published on newspapers on today (Monday), the firm announced that the power plant would be built under the leasing-purchase scheme.

Interested companies should cooperate with manufacturers of gas turbine power plant machines, are experienced in handling engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) as well as operation and maintenance of similar type of power plant. They must also be financially capable of developing the power plant as well as operate it.

Interested parties should register themselves from Oct. 26 through Nov. 1, 2010 during working hours and pre-qualification documents can be picked up between Oct. 29 and Nov. 1, 2010 during working hours at the following address: PT PLN (Persero) Pembangkitan Sumatra Bagian Selatan, Jl. Demang lebar Daun Nomor 375, Palembang, South Sumatra. (*)
