State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has called on the companies that have passed the prequalification process of the tender to develop a power plant in Riau to soon pick up the so-called ?works and requirements? document.

In an announcement released on November 29, the firm said the firms may pick up the documents on either December 1 or the following day from 10 am through 12 a.m. and 2 p.m. through 4 p.m. at its office on Jl. Brigjend Katamso in Medan, North Sumatra.

The companies are bidding for the contract to develop a 100 MW gas turbine power plant (PLTG) or gas engine power plant (PLTMG) in Duri.

Each company had to pay Rp 10 million for the document, PLN said, while warning that companies that fail to pick up the documents on the above-stated dates would be disqualified. (johannes/bernard)
