PLN cancels tender for power plant projects

State-owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) announced Monday it has canceled a recently announced tender for the development of several power plants in the country. The company did not say the reason for cancelling the tender.
As previously reported by this portal, PLN on March 25 opened tender for the development of several power plants in North Sumatra, South Sulawesi, South Kalimantan, and North Sulawesi with combined capacity of 720 MW.
?This is to notify to all parties who are interested to participate in, that the IPP procurement process for the above mentioned projects is cancelled and will be continued with another procurement scheme,? the company said in a statement.
