PLN completes PQ to select gas suppliers

State-owned electricity firm PT PLN said Thursday it has completed the pre-qualification tender started March 9 to select gas suppliers for several small to medium-scale power plants with combined capacity of 2,800 MW in central part of Indonesia.

Following is the list of companies or consortia which have passed the pre-qualification selection.
1. Consortium Socar Petroleum S.A. - PT Humpuss Transportasi Kimia - PT PP (Persero), Tbk - PT Toba Sejahtra
2. PT Pertamina (Persero)
3. Consortium PT Bukaka Teknik Utama, Tbk - Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. - Mitsui Co., Ltd.
4. Consortium PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) - International Power Ltd.
5. Consortium Itochu Corporation - PT Energasindo Heksa Karya
6. Osaka Gas Co. Ltd.
7. PT Medco Energi International, Tbk
8. Consortium Shell Gas & Power Development B.V - PT Energi Dian Kemala
9. Gas Natural Fenosa, SDG, S.A
10. Consortium Mitsubishi Corporation - Brunei National Petroleum Company Sdn. Bhd. - Diamond Gas International Pte. Ltd.
11. Marubeni Corporation.
