PLN completes three power projects in Jakarta

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has completed the development of three projects in Jakarta which will strengthen power distribution system in the capital.

The three projects are the 150 kV Kemayoran substation, the Gunung Sahari 150 kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and the Kemayoran-Gunung Sahari 150 kV high voltage transmission line, PLN?s chief spokesman Agung Murdifi said in a statement on Wednesday.

Agung said the PLN carried out energizing activities on the three facilities in the fourth week of May.

At present, PLN has 3,885,686 customers in the capital with peak load at 5,010 MW.
