PLN holds tender for power plant in Natuna

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) will develop a 2x7 MW power plant in Cemaga village, South Bunguran district, Natuna regency.

PLN?s Riau and Riau Islands areas said in a tender announcement that it is inviting bids for the construction of the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the coal-fired power plant. It said the budget is estimated at US$2,000/kW.

Eligible bidders must have the experience of developing at least 1 power plant with a minimum capacity of 3 MW over the past 10 years. If joined in a consortium, the lead consortium must be a national company with a minimum partnership interest of 30 percent.

The tender participation documents can be obtained on August 6-15, and the documents must be submitted before or on August 31 at the latest.
