PLN in negotiation to build 400MW coal fired power plant in Bali

State-owned electricity firm PT PLN is in negotiation with local investor to build a 400 megawatt (MW) coal fired power plant in Buleleng regency, Bali province, Investor daily reported Monday quoting PLN Bali officer.
PLN Bali distribution general manager I Gusti Ngurah Adnyana said the proposed power plant would be located near Celukan Bawang port in the regency and is expected to commence operation in 2007 with initial capacity of 130 MW. (*)
