PLN: Invitation for bids: Java-Bali submarine cables 150 kV circuit 3 and 4 project (Re-tender)

The Government of Republic of Indonesia has allocated a Credit Export loan from International Reputable Bank towards the cost of Java-Bali Submarine Cables 150 kV Circuits 3 and 4 Project, and it intends to apply part of the loan for payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.

PT PLN (Persero), the Employer, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders from all countries for designing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of: Java-Bali Submarine Cables 150 kV Circuit 3 and 4 Project
(Details and specifications are provided in the Bidding Document).

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with two stages bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries. The Bidders shall have specific experiences to manage 2 projects of 150 kV Submarine Cables and 150 kV Underground Cables with minimum rating not less than 150 kV in full turnkey basis.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document at the address given below,

To purchase the bidding Document in English, eligible bidders or their authorized representative shall:
- Register to the address above on October 12 -18, 2010.
- Pay non-refundable fee in cash.

The bidding document may be sent by mail or courier for an additional fee.

Site visit and the Pro-bid Conference wilt be held at the above address on October 19-20, 2010.

Bidders should deliver their bids:
- To the address above
- On or before 19 November 2010 together with Bid Security in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected

Bids will be opened immediately at the address above in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend.

The Employer will not be responsible for costs or expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.

In the comparison of bids, Domestic Preference Scheme will be applied in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Bidding Document.
