SUSTAINABLE HYDROPOWER PROGRAM
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR ACCOMPANYING MEASURES

1. PT PLN (Persero) hereby invites, qualified independent consultants to submit a prequalification document for consulting services required. Funds have been earmarked for this project by the German bilateral Financial Cooperation, provided through KfW Development Bank.

2. Brief description of the Project and the intended measures: to support and strengthen PLN in the strategic development, implementation, operation and maintenance of sustainable hydropower in Indonesia. The services shall be linked to the ongoing studies, design and implementation of hydropower projects financed by KIW in Indonesia under the Sustainable Hydropower Program as well as the Renewable Energy for Electrification Program. The required consulting services comprise capacity building measures to strengthen PLN?s project preparation capacities, to improve environmental and social compliance, and to implement a work safety and health protection process. Training and lecturing shall be complemented by the development and hand-over of a Learning Management System (LMS) and Knowledge Management System (KMS) for the hydropower sector within PLN.
