PLN: Invitation for power transmission development project

INVITATION FOR BIDS
FOR
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
IBRD LOAN NO.7940-ID

The Government of Republic of Indonesia has received a loan from IBRD towards the cost of Power Transmission Development Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.

PT PLN (Porsero) as the Employer now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders from all countries for: Power Transmission Development Project, IBRD Loan No.7940-ID by following packages:

? Package J-1 : Supply and Installation 500/1 50 kV, 500 MVA Interbus Power Transformers for Java
? Package J-2 : Supply and Installation 150 kV Millennium Substation in West Java
? Package J-3 : Supply and Installation 150/20 kV, 60 MVA Power Transformers for Substations Central Java

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with single stage one envelope bidding procedures specified in the World

Bank?s Guidelines and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may collect the bidding document by register to the address above, starting from 6 July 2011 between 09.00 - 15.00 WIST upon payment of non-refundable fee with amount Ten Million Rupiah (Rp 10,000,000 or USD 1,162.00 in equivalent) for each package in cash. The bidding documents shall be taken by Bidders themselves or their authorized representative at the above address.

Site visit will be carried out from 19 July 2011 to 26 July 2011 and the Pre-bid Conference will be held at the above address on 28 July 2011.

Bidders shall deliver their bid in sealed envelopes and clearly marked ?Bid Proposal for Power Transmission Development Project, IBRD Loan No.7940-ID ? Package [No.]? to the address above before or not later than 15 September 2011 at 10.00 am WIST, together with Bid Security of an amount as indicated in bidding document. Late bids will be rejected.

Bids will be opened immediately at the address above in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend. The Employer will not be responsible for costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.
