PLN: Invitation to bid for PLTU 1 Kalimantan Tengah (2 x 60 MW)

PT PLN (PERSERO) INVITATION TO BID FOR
PLTU 1 KALIMANTAN TENGAH (2 x 60 MW)

PT PLN (Persero) intends to invite the prospective Bidders as EPC Contractor to participate in bidding of Coal Fired Steam Power Plant Project as part of first stage of acceleration project 10.000 MW, using low rank coal,

The project is as follow:

The Bidder shall provide a complete and fully operational power station which compliant with all relevant national legislation and designed in accordance with the recognized international standards and codes. The Works under this Project comprising of engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply, shop testing, erection, installation, substation and associated transmission line, testing, synchronizing, training, insurance, warranty, commissioning and project management in the turnkey basis.

This Project shall be financed by PT PLN (Persero) budget.

The Bidding is opened to a Single company, Joint Venture/Consortium/Joint Operation under the International Competitive Bidding and single stage two envelopes bidding procedure will be applied with post qualification.

Eligible bidders must meet the following criteria as stipulated in the Bidding Document:

1. The Bidder must demonstrate that he has successfully completed minimum two (2) years of proven commercial operation steam power plant, at least two (2) units with the minimum capacity 25 MW.

2. The designer and manufacturer shall have designed and manufactured at least one (1) unit CFB Boiler, Steam Turbine, Generator and Coal & Limestone Handling System with a minimum unit capacity of 60MW.

3. The leading member shall be local Contractor (Indonesia Company) in accordance to the Regulation of Ministry of Industry of RoI No: 04/M-IND/PER/1/2009 regarding ?Pedoman Penggunaan Produksi Dalam Negeri untuk Pembangunan infrastruktur Ketenagalistrikan? and shall have the past experience and or ongoing project to manage a major scope of contract at least one (1) coal fired steam power plant projects and or similar project complexity.

4. Financial capability as evidence by audited balance sheet and profit/loss statement for the last 3 (three) years. The Bidder financial capability should be Sound and satisfactory and shall be evaluated in term of net profit, and total assets.

Eligible bidders may obtain the bid document between 09.00 - 15.00 WIST since February 3, 2010 up to March 31, 2010, upon cash payment of a non refundable Seven Million Rupiah (Rp 7,000,000) at the following address:
