Ulubelu Geothermal Power Plant Project (2x55 MW)

JBIC Loan No. IP-525

 

1. The Government of (GOI) through its executing agency PT PLN (Persero) has received a loan under the Official Development Assistance (ODA) from Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) toward the cost of the captioned project.

 

2. PT PLN (Persero) invites sealed application for pre-qualification from eligible bidders for the design, supply, transportation, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete geothermal power plant project under the following Contract Package:

Lampung Province

3. Pre-qualification is open to firms and voluntarily formed joint ventures and consortia from eligible nationals, in accordance with the Guidelines for Procurement under JBIC ODA Loans.

 

4. The request must clearly state “Request for Pre-qualification Documents for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the Ulubelu Geothermal Power Plant Project. JBIC Loan No. IP-525”. The documents are available for a nonrefundable fee of Indonesian Rupiah Five Million (Rp.5.000.000) and eligible Applicants may obtain the documents from the address below from August 30, 2007.

5. Submissions of Applications for Pre-qualification, in one (1) original and two (2) copies, must be received in sealed envelopes or packages, either delivered by hand or by registered mail to the address above not later than October 22, 2007, 2:00 p.m. (Western Indonesian Time) and be clearly marked “Application to Pre-qualify for Ulubelu Geothermal Power Plant Project, JBIC Loan No. IP-525”.

 

6. Applicants will be advised, in due course, of the results of their applications. Only firms and joint Ventures and consortia pre-qualified under this procedure will be invited to bid.

 

7. It is expected that Invitations to Bid will be made in January 2008.
