PLN launches tender for PLTG Bangkanai first phase

State electricity company PT PLN invites investors to take part in pre-qualification process for the construction of a gas-fired power plant (PLTG) Bangkanai Phase-I in Central Kalimantan.
The power plant will have capacity of between 140-160 MW with estimated project value of around Rp1 trillion.
PLN said that investors willing to take part in the tender process must be EPC (engineering, procurement & construction) companies. Participants can bid on their own or set up a consortium. In the event that foreign companies join the consortium, local company must lead the consortium and has majority interest.
Pre-qualification documents are available from November 16 to 30 at:
