PLN launches tender for PLTU Tanjung Pinang

State utility company PT PLN for Riau and Riau Islands provinces launched tender to build coal-fired power plant PLTU Tanjung Pinang with capacity of 2 x 15 megawatt. The project is developed based on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT).
The scope of work will include design, financing, procurement, construction and test commissioning, operating and maintaining the project. PLTA Tanjung Pinang is located in Sei Enam Laut village, Sei Enam, Bintan Timur sub-district, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands province.
The BOOT will last for 25 years.
The registration for pre-qualification will be held from October 27 to November 9, 2011. The deadline for submission of pre-qualification document is set on December 8, 2011.(romel)
