PLN names Shell HSD supply tender winner

State electricity firm PLN said on Wednesday that it has named Royal Dutch/Shell winner in a tender to supply high speed diesel (HSD) to the company?s power plants in Grati, East Java and Belawan, North Sumatra.

CEO Fahmi Mochtar said that Shell won tender to supply 600,000 kiloliters of HSD to Grati and 250,000 kiloliters to Belawan at the price of MOPS plus 3.75 percent.

Shell would supply HSD to both power plants for three years.

Fahmi said PLN canceled tender result for Pontianak, West Kalimantan (50,000 kls)and Samarinda, East Kalimantan (100,000 kls) after lowest bidder AKR Corporindo failed to meet administrative requirement.(godang)
