PLN NP to issue EPC tender for 1,020 MW gas power plants soon

PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP), a subsidiary of the Indonesian state-owned electricity utility PT PLN (Persero), intends to announce the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tender for eight gas power plant projects with a total capacity of 1,020 megawatts this week.
During 2025 Electricity Connect, Dwi Hartono, Director of Business Development and Commerce at PLN Nusantara Power, indicated that the projects subject to tender are categorized into two types: four projects under the procurement scheme for gas engine packages only (GEPP) and four projects for gas turbine power plants (GTPP).
