PLN obtains investment incentive worth Rp 19.97 trillion

State-owned electricity company PT. PLN has obtained so-called investment incentive worth Rp 19.97 trillion from the government, which is included in the proposed 2015 state budget, Kontan reported on Tuesday.

The paper quoted PLN President Director Nur Pamudji as saying that the investment incentive would help improve the company?s capital, which in turn would ease down its debt to equity ratio, which currently stood at a skyrocket level of 250 percent, thus undermining its finances outlook. (*)
