PLN opens 900kt coal supply tender for Asam Asam

South and Central Kalimantan unit of state electricity firm PLN announced on Friday the opening of tender to supply 300,000 tonnes per annum of low CV coal for Asam Asam power plant in South Kalimantan.

PLN said the winner will supply 25,000 tonnes of coal per month for three years.

PLN said eligible bidders are miners with minimum production of 25,000 tonnes per month.

Coal CV required for the tender is 4,200 kcal/kg (AR)

Bid submission would be held on September 8, 2009.
