PLN opens bid for 1 million kiloliters of HSD

Public utility Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) opens a bid for the procurement of about 1 million kilolitres of high speed diesel (HSD) to meet the fuel needs of its diesel power plants.

PLN said that the tender aims to fulfill the fuel needs of its power plants in Belawan of North Sumatra, Grati of East Java, Pontianak of West Kalimantan and Tanjung Batu of East Kalimantan from 2008 until 2010.

In an advertisement placed on Media Indonesia on Wednesday, PLN said the company opened the bids to fuel retail companies which have received licenses from the Indonesian government, and should be supported by refinery facilities with a capacity of between 100,000 and 2 million kiloliters a year either at home or overseas.

Companies interested in the tender should file their bids from December 27 to January 9, 2008 to the tendering committee at PLN's office on Jl Trunojoyo Blok M 1/135 Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. (denny)
