PLN opens PQ bid for low rank coal supply

State electricity firm PLN announced on Tuesday the pre-qualification bid opening for low calorific coal supply for its coal-fired power plants.
The company said in an announcement that it required coal with minimum calorific value of 4,200 kCal/kg with maximum total moisture of 35 percent and HGI between 45-65.
PLN requires bidders to have at least 150 million tones to measured reserves. The company, however, did not detail the volume of coal required and the supply commencement date. (alex)
