PLN opens pre-qualification tender for Sumatra transmission line

State-owned electricity company PT. PLN opened Tuesday pre-qualification tender for the construction of the Sumatra 500 kV power transmission line.
The company said in a tender announcement that eligible bidders must meet a number of requirements to show capacity in developing the project including experience in developing at least a 150 kV transmission, and solid financial condition with minimum net worth of at least Rp 800 billion and operating revenue of at least Rp 5 trillion per year during the past three years.
Bidders can registered themselves through http://eproc.pln.co.id and get the tender documents at PLN headquarters office from August 19 to September 1. The documents must be submitted to PLN by 10 AM Sept 3 at the latest.
