PLN opens tender for development of Tarakan power plant

State-owned electricity company PT. PLN opened Monday PQ tender for the development of a 2X10 MW coal-fired power plant in Tarakan, North Kalimantan.
PLN said in a tender announcement that it was seeking for the "sponsor" of the project, which would be responsible in financing, developing, constructing, and operating the plant under a build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) scheme for 25 years, in which PLN will purchase the electricity.
Interested bidders can obtain the PQ tender documents by October 10 at the latest at PLN Tarakan office in North Kalimantan.
Application must be submitted by November 10 at the latest.
