PLN opens tender for gas-fired power plant projects

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GAS FIRED POWER PLANTS
INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECTS
PT PLN (Persero) (?PLN?) intends to select a potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor?) to develop Independent Power Producer Projects for each of the following locations:

The selected Project Sponsor for each location will develop, finance, construct and operate the Project on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis pursuant to a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) up to 20 (twenty) years: and finance and construct its associated 150 kV/2O kV transmission line/ distribution line, which will be transferred to PLN as a special facility.
This Pre-qualification is open to interested party or parties, either domestic or foreign partnership with domestic, who have previous experience in implementing power generation projects and will be selected through a competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the qualification criteria set forth in Pre-Qualification Document. The Qualification Criteria will be based on three categories which represent the Applicant?s ability to develop IPP projects, its power generation experience and its financial strength. PLN invites interested parties to submit PQ?s applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document. Only Applicants which Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project. PQ Applicants must demonstrate a current D&B (Dun & Bradstreet) rating of at least 5A2 or an investment grade credit rating by S&P or Moody?s or Fitch for Consortium Leader and each member other than Consortium Leader must demonstrate a current D&B (Dun & Bradstreet) rating of at least 5A3 or an investment grade credit rating by S&P or Moody?s or Fitch.
Any party who interested in participating the procurement processes is required to register by submitting a letter of Expression of Interest and collecting the Pre-Qualification Document on the date, time and venue stated hereunder. The late registration shall not be possible.
Pre-qualification Document may be collected from April 3Qth 2015 to Maylith 2015 at the following hours: 09.00 - 14.30 West Indonesia Standard Time after payment of a non-refundable fees in the amount of:
