PLN opens tender for Jawa 7 IPP project

JAWA 7 COAL-FIRED INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT
NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
1. PT PLN (Persero) (?PLN?), a power utility company wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia intends to procure the Jawa 7 (2,000MW) coal-fired independent power producer project in Bojonegara, Banten (the ?Project?) through a competitive selection process (the ?Selection Process?).
2. PLN will extend an invitation for pre-qualification to potential investors.
3. Through the pre-qualification process PLN intends to select applications that are eligible to participate in the Selection Process. PLN seeks to pre-qualify interested parties who have relevant experience in implementing power generation projects of scope and size comparable to the Project and that meet the qualification criteria, based on certain business, technical, financial and legal criteria, that will be described in a pro-qualification document (the ?Pre-Qualification Document?).
4. Interested parties are invited to submit applications in accordance with the Pre-Qualification Document. Only those applicants that demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to participate in the Selection Process.
5. The Pro-Qualification Document will be available to those applicants that submit a letter of expression of interest and make payment of a non-refundable IDR 15 million (in cash), which can be collected from 5 December, 2014 up to 19 December, 2014 from 09.00 am until 03.00 pm WIST at the following address:
