PLN opens tender for Lombok coal-fired power plant project

LOMBOK CFSPP FTP 2 (2X50 MW)
1. In order to anticipated high demand of energy, PLN (hereinafter referred to as the ?Owner?) has decided to construct of LOMBOK Coal Fired Steam Power Plant FTP 2 (2x50 MW) with minimum Net Output 50 MW and maximum Net Output 50 MW +10% each unit.
2. The Owner intends to prequalify the Applicant for the design, execution and completion (including manufacture, delivery, testing before shipment, finishing, painting, packing for export, insuring, shipping, delivering to the Indonesia, landing, customs clearing, transporting from the port to the Site, site storing, civil and building work, erection, site testing, commissioning and remedying all defects) of the LOMBOK CFSPP FTP 2 (2x50 MW) (hereinafter referred to as the ?Works?). The Works are located at Labuhan Pandan Village, Sambelia District, Lombok Timur Regency of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province of the Republic of Indonesia.
3. The proposed project will be financed by corporate loan to PLN for the minimum amount of 70% (excluding VAT) of the Contract Price and remaining will be financed by PLN?s own budged. At least 50% of the loan portion shall be covered under Export Credit Agency (ECA) and the remaining loan portion shall be covered by the Lender or any other sources without government guarantee and non-collateral.
4. Applicant shall be Local Company/ies who have voluntarily formed consortiums/ joint-ventures/joint-operations with Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Country members which has diplomatic relation with Indonesia.
5. The qualified Applicants criteria will be based on the satisfactory demonstration but not limited to:The Applicant shall has successful experience in the design, manufacture, supply, installation, supervision, completion and commissioning at least two (2) Units Coal Fired Steam Power Plant projects with minimum output is 50 MW each Unit in the last twenty (20) years, and successful operation for more than two (2) years with previous experience minimum 30% of shared of JO/JV/Consortium will be considered.
6. Eligible Applicants may register and obtain the Prequalification Document on or after April 27,2016 - June 09,2016 alter payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of Rp. 5,000,000 (Indonesian Rupiah five million) for Project Prequalification Document at:

7. Submissions of Applications for Prequalification must be received in accordance with the requirements of the Instruction to Applicants in sealed envelopes, either delivered by-hand not later than 14.00 p.m. local time on June 10, 2016 to the above address and be clearly marked ?Application to Prequalify for LOMBOK CFSPP FTP 2 (2x50 MW) Project?.
