PLN opens tender for power transmission projects

INVITATION FOR BIDS
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (SAVING PROJECT)

1. PT PLN through Republic of Indonesia has received financing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of Power Transmission Development Project (Loan No 7940-ID), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan toward payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Bids is Issued.
2. PT PLN now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders from all countries for the following packages:
A. Package 1: Supply and Installation for Extension of 150 kV Transformer Bays for Scattered Substation
B. Package 2: Procurement of 150 kV Transformer for Scattered Substation
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank?s Single Stage Bidding Procedures. The completion schedule is 540 days. Domestic Preference shall be applicable.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank?s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods. Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers- January 2011 (?Procurement Guidelines?), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The Procurement Officer and may be obtain the bidding documents beginning from February 1, 2016 during office hours 08.00 to 16.00 at the address given below.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of IDR 5,000,000 (Five Million Indonesian Rupiah) or in equivalent US Dollar 370 (Three hundred and seventy Dollar). The method of payment will be Cash or Banker?s cheque in favor of PT PLN.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before March 15, 2016. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders? designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on March 15, 2016.
