PLN, Pertamina agree on new toll fee for Arun-Belawan

State electricity firm PT PLN Persero said it has reached agreement with state oil, gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) on revised gas transportation toll fee from Arun in Aceh to Belawan, North Sumatra.
PLN?s Head of Oil and gas Division Chairani Rachmatullah told Petromindo.Com on Friday that both parties have agreed to lower toll fee to US$1.76 per mmbtu from $2.53 per mmbtu starting May this year.
PLN has been asking for price decrease for its gas transported by Pertamina?s subsidiary PT Pertagas.
PLN transports gas from Arun to its power plant in Belawan under 15-year contract through a-350km pipeline.
