PLN, PGN to seal more gas deal

State electricity firm PLN said it was in talks to buy gas from state gas distribution firm PGN for its Talang Duku power plant in Palembang, South Sumatra.

PLN?s Head of Primary Energy Division, Nasri Sebayang told Petromindo.Com recently that the gas supply deal would be signed this month, under which PGN would supply 8MMCFD to the power plant.

He did not give detail about gas price or length of the contract.

Previously, PLN has secured two contracts from PGN for its power plants in Muara Tawar, Bekasi, West Java and Cilegon in Banten province. (godang)
