PLN picks Sumitomo-Rekayasa Lahendong expansion EPC contractor

State electricity firm PLN said on Wednesday it had picked consortium of Sumitomo Corp. and state-owned engineering firm PT.Rekayasa Indsutry as EPC contractor to develop the third unit of Lahendong geothermal power plant in North Sulawesi. The unit will have capacity of 20 megawatts

Deputy Director Tonny Agus Mulyantono said that formal EPC signing would be held in Subang on March 21, 2007 witnessed by President SBY.

Tonny said the project would be completed in 22 months. (godang)
