PLN plans to buy small LNG vessel

State-owned electricity company PLN is planning purchase small LNG vessel to be deployed in the eastern part of Indonesia, said Head of Fuel and Gas Division at PLN Suryadi Mardjoeki to Petromindo.com on Friday.

He said that the company is planning to buy the vessel from manufacturers in either Japan, China or South Korea.

?We?re looking to buy small LNG vessel. There are three manufacturers in Japan which are ready (to supply the vessel). We?re going to also see in China and South Korea, and then hold a tender (to get the best deal),? he said, but did not provide further details.
