PLN plans to develop 150 MW power plant in Kupang

State-owned electricity company PT PLN plans to develop a 150 MW power plant in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara Province, to increase power supply in the region, a local report said on Thursday.
News portal Kupang.com quoted Kupang Regency administration senior official Hendrik Paut as saying that construction was expected to start in 2017.
PLN has sought for the support of the local administration in securing the required 50-ha of land for the planned project. He did not say the type of the power plant to be built. (*)
