PLN: PQ invitation for 120-MW Bangkanai combained-cycle IPP project

FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF 120 MW BANGKANAI COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT
PT PLN (Persero) (?PLN) intends to select a potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor?) to develop 120 MW Bangkanai Combined Cycle Power Plant (the ?Project), in Central Kalimantan Province, the Republic of Indonesia. The Project will be implemented on a BOOT basis pursuant toe twenty-five (25) years Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), and finance and construct the associated 150 kV transmission line, which will be transferred to PLN as a special facility
The Project Sponsor will be selected through an International competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the pre-qualification criteria set forth in this Pre-Qualification Document. The selected Project Sponsor will be required to arrange the necessary financing and incorporate the Special Purpose Company, in order to execute the Project Agreements.
PLN seeks to pre-qualify interested parties who have previous international experience in Implementing power generation projects, and invites interested parties to submit applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in this Pre-Qualification Document, Only Applicants who?s Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in this Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.
Registration and Collection of Pre-Qualification Document are eligible for Director or a parson who has Power of Attorney from the Directors. Registration and retrieval document will be open from June 17, 2010 up to June 24, 2010 (on working day from 08.00 until 16.00 West Indonesia Standard Time).
Pre-Qualification Document may be collected after a payment of non refundable IDR 10 million (ten million rupiahs) by cash at the following address:

Only Applicants who has collected the Pre-Qualification Document can attend Pre-Qualification Meeting and submit questions related to Pre-Qualification Document.
Applicant should summit to PLN, their application for the pre-qualification during normal business hours at or before 16.00 West Indonesia Standard Time on or before July 14, 2010.
