PLN: PQ invitation for 2X100 MW Kalteng-1 power plant IPP project

INVITATION
NOTICE FOR THE PRE-QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF
2X100 MW KALTENG-1 COAL FIRED STEAM POWER PLANT INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT

PT PLN (Persero) (?PLN?) intends to select a potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor?) to develop Kalteng-1 Coal Fired Steam Power Plant IPP Project in Central Kalimantan Province, Republic of Indonesia. The selected Project Sponsor will develop, finance, construct and operate the Project with net capacity of 2x100 MW on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis pursuant to a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) up to 25 (twenty five) years; and also finance and construct the associated 150 kV transmission line, which will be transferred to PLN as a special facility.

This Pre-qualification is open to interested party or parties, either domestic or foreign partnership with domestic, who have previous experience in implementing power generation projects and will be selected through a competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the qualification criteria set forth in Pre-Qualification Document. The Qualification Criteria will be based on three categories represent the Applicant?s ability/experience to develop IPP projects, its power generation experience and its financial strength.

PIN invites interested parties to submit PQ?s applications in accordance with the, criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document. Only Applicants whose Qualification Statement demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.

Pre-qualification Document may be collected from 13 September 2011 to 26

September 2011 at the following hours: 09.00 - 14.30 West Indonesia Standard

Time after payment of a non refundable fee in the amount of Rp 10.000.000,- (ten million rupiahs) at the following address:
