PLN: PQ invitation for 2x110 MW Sumbar-1 power plant IPP project

FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
(2 X 110 MW) SUMBAR-1 MINE MOUTH COAL FIRED STEAM POWER PLANT INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT
LOCATED IN WEST SUMATERA PROVINCE
REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
PT PLN (Persero) (?PLN?) intends to select a potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor?) to develop the (2 x 110 MW) Sumbar-1 Mine Mouth Coal Fired Steam Power Plant (the ?Project?), to be located in West Sumatera Province, the Republic of Indonesia. The Project will be implemented on a BOOT basis pursuant to a twenty five (25) year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
The Project Sponsor will be selected through an international competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the pre-qualification criteria set forth in this Pre-Qualification Document. The selected Project Sponsor will be required to arrange the necessary financing and incorporate the Special Purpose Company, in order to execute the Project Agreements.
PLN seeks to pro-qualify interested parties who have proven experience In implementing power generation projects, and invites interested parties to submit applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in this Pro-Qualification Document. Only Applicants whose Qualification Statements demonstrate their fulfillment of all of the criteria set forth in this Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.
Registration and Collection of Pre-Qualification Document are eligible for Director or a person who has Power of Attorney from the Directors. Registration will be open from 1 - 10 December 2010 (on business days from 09.00 until 15.00 West Indonesia Standard Time) with a cash payment of non refundable IDR 10 million (ten million rupiahs)at the following address:
