PLN: PQ invitation for Jatigede 2x55 MW hydro power plant

INVITATION NOTICE FORTHE PRE-QUALIFICATION OF
APPLICANTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
JATIGEDE HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER PLANT 2 X 55 MW
INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT

PT PLN (Persero) (?PLN?) intends to select a potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor) to develop Jatigede Hydro Electric Power Plant IPP Project at Sumedang Regency, West Java, Republic of Indonesia. The selected Project Sponsor will develop, finance, construct and operate the Project with net capacity of Approximately 2x55 MW on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis pursuant to a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) up to 20 (twenty years; in addition the Project Sponsor shall finance and construct associated 150 kV transmission line approximately 2 km, which will be transferred to PLN as a special facility.

PLN opens Pre-Qualification (PQ) to interested parties, either domestic company or foreign company in partnership with domestic, who have previous experience in implementing hydro power generation projects and will be selected through an International Competitive Bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the qualification criteria.

PLN invites interested party or parties as Applicants to submit PQ?s applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document. The Qualification Criteria will be based on three (3) categories represent the Applicant?s ability to develop IPP projects, its hydro power generation experience and its financial strength. Only Applicants whose Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.

Pre-Qualification Document may be collected from December 1, 2009 up to December 11, 2009 (before 15.00 West Indonesia Standard Time) after payment of a non refundable fee in the amount of Rp 1.000.000,- (one million rupiahs) at the following address:
