Deadline for Submission of Applications: June 06th, 2012
1. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has received an ODA Loan No. lP556 dated April 30, 2010 from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) toward the cost of the Java-Sumatra Interconnection Transmission Line Project dated April 30, 2010. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this Loan will be applied to eligible payments for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.
2. The PT. PLN (Persero), the Employer intends to prequalify contractors for following contracts under this Java ? Sumatra Interconnection Transmission Line Project.
a. Package 1: 500kV AC/DC Converter Stations and Substations
b. Package 2: 500kV DC Submarine Cable and Switching (Connecting) Station
c. Package 3: 500kV DC Overhead Transmission Line
3. It is expected that Invitation for Bids will be made in the 4th quarter of the year 2012.
4. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Guidelines for Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans, March 2009, and is open to all reputable bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines.
5. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the Prequalification Documents at the following address after date April 16th, 2012, upon submission of a formal request.

6. A complete set of the Prequalification Document may be purchased by interested Applicant(s) on the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of IDR 3,000,000 (Three Million Indonesian Rupiah).
7. The request application shall clearly state ?Request for Prequalification Documents for Package (insert number) bf the Java - Sumatra Interconnection Transmission Line Project?.
8. Applications for prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes which shall be clearly marked as ?Application to Prequalify for Package (insert number) of the Java - Sumatra Interconnection Transmission Line Project?, also ?Name of Applicant? and be delivered to the above address not later than 15:00 Western Indonesia Standard Tine of June 06th, 2012.
