PLN: PQ invitation for Mamuju coal-fired IPP project

NOTICE FOR THE PRE-QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS
FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF
2X25 MW MAMUJU COAL FIRED STEAM POWER PLANT
INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT
PT PLN (Persero) (?PLN?) intends to select a potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor?) to develop Mamuju Coal Fired Steam Power Plant IPP Project in West Sulawesi Province, Republic of Indonesia. The selected Project Sponsor will develop, finance, construct and operate the Project with net capacity of 2x25 MW on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis pursuant to a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) up to 25 (twenty five) years; and finance and construct the associated 150 kV transmission line, which will be transferred to PLN as a special facility.
This Pre-qualification is open to interested party or parties, either domestic or foreign partnership with domestic, who have previous experience in implementing power generation projects and will be selected through a competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the qualification criteria set forth in Pre-Qualification Document. The Qualification Criteria will be based on three categories represent the Applicant?s ability to develop IPP projects, its power generation experience and its financial strength.
PLN invites interested parties to submit P0?s applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document. Only Applicants whose Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Pro-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.
Pro-qualification Document may be collected from December 27, 2010 to January 07, 2011 at the following hours : 09.00 - 15.00 West Indonesia Standard Time after payment of a non refundable fee in the amount of Rp 2.500.000,- (two million and five hundred thousand rupiahs) at the following address:
