INVITATION FOR THE PRE-QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS
FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF
THE SUMATERA SOLAR PV PLANT PROJECT
INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT
As part of implementation of Regulation of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 12/2017 regarding Utilization Renewable Energy of Electricity and in order to increase electric power supply to industry business and households in Sumatera Island PT PLN (Persero) intends to select a Project Sponsor to develop the Sumatera Solar PV Plant Project with total capacity 167.58 MWp the project consist of:
a. Package 1 ? Wilayah Aceh with capacity 20 Mwp.
b. Package 2 - Wilayah Sumatera Utara with capacity 35 Mwp.
C. Package 3 - Wilayah Riau & Kepulauan Riau dan Bangka Belitung with capacity 38,68 MWp
d. Package 4 - Wilayah Sumatera Barat with capacity 16 Mwp.
e. Package 5 - Wilayah Sumatera Selatan, Jambi dan Bengkulu (S2JB) with capacity 33 Mwp.
f. Package 6 - Wilayah Lampung with capacity 24,9 MWp.
The Project will be implemented on a BOOT basis pursuant to the Power Purchase Agreement.
The Pre-Qualification is open to interested party/parties in the form of consortium, who have previous experience in implementing power generation projects and will be selected through an international competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the pre-qualification criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document The qualification criteria will be based on three (3) categories represent the Applicants ability to develop IPP projects its power generation experience and its financial strength The selected Applicant will be required to arrange the necessary financing and incorporate the Project Company in order to execute the Power Purchase Agreement.
PLN invites interested parties to submit Applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document Only those Applicants with qualification statements that demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project The Pre-Qualification Document is being distributed to parties that sent an expression of interest to PLN with payment of IDR 15 million per package.
The interested party may register and collect Pre-Qualification Document during normal business hours from 10:00-15:00 West Indonesia Standard Time (?WIST?) on 26 May 2017 until 2 June 2017, to the address below:
