PLN production up

State electricity company PT PLN booked an unaudited production of 43.170,94 GWh in the first quarter of this year, up from 40.831,09 GWh it set in the same period last year.
PLN finance director Setio Anggoro Dewo said on Wednesday the company booked 37.397,95 GWh in sales volume in the same period, an increase from its mark in the first quarter of 2010.
Dewo added the number of customers grew by188.54% from the target of 664,594 households in the first quarter, up from 455,147 in the same period of 2010.
Power connection also exceeded the target by 164.43% to 1.623,41 MVA from 959,79 MVA. The total power connection has now reached 69.177,68 MVA as of the Q1 of this year, compared to 63.835,77 MVA. (giok)
